Kalyan: Ramnagar police in Dombivli have arrested a 28-year-old Godman who allegedly looted the family of retired sales tax taxes RS 31 lakh with the pretext of eliminating the negative energy of the family.
The arrest accusations were identified as Pawan Patil.
He is a resident of Bhadgaon in Jalgaon District in Maharashtra.
Police told Priyanka Rane’s deadly father suffer from cancer.
His mother, who is a retired sales tax officer, touched Patil, who claimed to have strength in him and that he could cure her husband.
Police said that since Priyanka’s husband Yogesh lost his job, Patil assured him that he would get his husband’s job again.
It was found that Priyanka’s father did not survive because of cancer and died later but her husband got a job.
Godman Patil told them that someone had done black magic in the family and after releasing it, their family problems would be resolved.
Consisting between the period December 2019 and January 21 using different tactics by doing different pujas and taking RS 32 lakh from the family.
Shekhar Sarade, Police Inspector Police Dombivli said, “The man has shown a family of different tricks and magic by hypnotizing them to gain family trust”.
Sarade said, “the accusation in the name of some rituals and Pooja looted the family of Rs 32 Lakh which included bank transfer, online transfer and also some prizes”.
The police have learned that Patil has many followers and has appealed that if he cheats anyone then approaches the police.
