Thane: Thane session court here has sentenced a 26-year-old man to demand a ransom of a relative of a small boy who was lost in 2015, but he did not have Him.
In an order passed on Tuesday, the District and Judge Session Shailendra Tambe found the defendant Kalim Isshaq Ansari who was guilty of violations could be punished under the section 387 IPC (anyone, to do extortion, put or attempt to put anyone in fear of death or injured It hurts for that person) and also slapped the fine of Rs 10,000.
However, one accused of this case, however, was released.
The additional prosecutor of the people of Kulkarni told the court that a teenager Vartak Nagar, then aged 15 years, lost after the kidnapping case was submitted on March 27, 2015.
His parents received a call on April 1, 2015, from the accusation who demanded Rs 1 Lakh to release the teenager ‘Kidnapped’ and threatens to eliminate if the request is not fulfilled.
The police then put the trap and arrested two people and detained a teenager but did not find the boy because he was never kidnapped by them.
The probe revealed that the defendant had made a call similar to many relatives of children who were lost or kidnapped, but the defendant never let them hear the sound of ‘kidnapping’ boys.
A police officer said that the writing petition was submitted in the High Court and the case of Boy Vartak Nagar was handed over to the ACP Bharat Shelke and his team.
They traced the boy to Nerul on January 22, 2019, and reunited him with his parents.
Then knowing that the boy made him leave the house to work with a catering that was afraid he would fail in class 9.
He had actually passed but did not know about the results since he escaped before the results came out.
The boy was tracked after four years where he carried out the task for catering.
While Ansari was punished, the case of teenagers defendants was being handled by a teen court.
