Thane: Man is held for theft at Conkan Express Trains

Thane: A 28-year-old man has been arrested for allegedly stealing passenger items traveling in a letter and expressing the Konkan Railways train in Thane and Panvar parts of Maharashtra, the train police said on Friday.
The branch of crime from the Thane train police has captured the allegations of Nikhilanna Narayana KP, native of Kerala, for allegedly stealing wallets, bags and passenger phones traveling by train far in Konkan Railway, said Senior Inspector Gajendra Patil.
The train police have begun investigated into several the incidents of theft reported in the mail and expression of the train and based on CCTV recordings and technical inputs, they focused on charges, the official said.
The stolen goods worth Rs 2.01 Lakh, most of the cellphones were found from the defendant, he said, adding that further investigation was taking place to find out if he had been involved in theft again.
