Thane: Mumbra police booked a man and his in-laws to commit suicide a 29-year-old woman for harassment when she gave birth to a baby girl.
Based on complaints by the mother of a police force ordered her husband, father-in-law and mother-in-law.
The woman married in May 2019, and the couple then lived in Diva.
The woman worked for six months but after locking, they went to their original place and returned in September 2020.
He had to leave his job and stay at home when he compiled and had several complications.
The complaint accused him physically and mentally harassed, and his husband and his in-laws forced him to take any work.
In October 2020, they drove him from home during pregnancy, so he lived with other people in the neighborhood, and then with a cousin.
Her husband then accused him of affair.
When he gave birth to a girl in June 2021, the trio became angry.
On July 14, when he died of suicide, the Mumbra police registered a case of unintentional death.
After an investigation, a case was registered under Section 306 of the Indian criminal code.
