Thane: The body of an unknown man was found floating in Lake Masunda, also known as Talao Pali, in Thane on Saturday afternoon.
The deceased is said to be around 30-35 years.
After being told, local firefighters and the Thane disaster response personnel rushed to the place.
The body was provoked by the rescue team and was handed over to the Naupada police, said the Head of the Municipal Regional Disaster Management Selort in Kadam.
Police Naupada has registered a case with respect to the incident.
