Thane: One person has been arrested for allegedly committing suicide of a MSEDCL employee in the Murbad district in Thane, police said on Monday.
MSEDC Wireman Suresh Ahire (54) had committed suicide on September 15 by consuming poisons and then jumped into the sewer, Police Inspector Police Murbad Prasad Pandhare told PTI.
“The suicide note found in the scene said two people had cheated him Rs 10 lakh, because he ended his life.
One of them has been captured and strives to capture the others.
They have been ordered under IPC and SC / ST (Prevention of cruelty ) Acting part, “he said.
