Thane: A man delivered 24-year-old food was killed in Thane City after a tanker attached to the army ran into a two-wheeled vehicle, police said on Saturday.
The incident took place on Jalan Saket on Thursday night and a case under the IPC and ACT motor vehicle has been registered against Sunil Singh’s army personnel, riding a tanker from Baroda in Gujarat to Bengaluru in Karnataka, an official said.
“The victim, who was identified as Namdeo Namwad, died on his way to the hospital.
The driver of the tanker has served a notification in his Bengaluru unit,” the official said.
