Thane: The movement of traffic on Jalan Ghodbunder was influenced after a cellular van used to check the level of air pollution on fire at Nagla Bunder on Friday afternoon.
The van belongs to the Indian government.
The police said the van was waiting for a signal when the driver, Sanjay Chavan, watched the smoke from the machine and immediately reminded three co-travelers to go down after the vehicle caught fire in a few minutes, Informed Balasaheb Patil, a traffic deputy.
