Thane: In a unfortunate incident, a 28-year-old young man lost his life after being bitten by a snake, the incident occurred in the Mumbra area on Monday.
The deceased was identified as Mohammed Sheikh, a resident of Sanjay Nagar in Mumbra.
The victim had gone to the Gaondevi area along with his friends where he saw a snake and then he allegedly started playing with him.
He was bitten by rat rats.
Then, he rushed to the Chhatrapati Hospital Shivaji Maharaj (CSMH) for treatment, however, he was declared dead.
The police said that his body was then sent for post-mortem, and cases of unintentional deaths had been registered in this matter.
