Thane: Thane Municipal Corporation (TMC) has spent almost Rs 5 Crore on rebuilding and beautifying a private garden in the Shrinagar City area, Corporators told the Thane General Agency, on Thursday.
Surprising exposure was made at home on Thursday after Shiv Sena Corporator Gurmukh Singh raised a question for garden ownership in his nation.
He claimed the corporation recently moved plans to change the name of the park even and tried to find out whether the facility was owned by the corporation.
The red-faced administration claimed it was not aware of the ownership status of the garden and signaled it might be a private property.
Officials from the corporation told the house that rebuilding and beauty was approved by the previous general body, which made members ask why the administration failed to examine the ownership title.
Meanwhile, Singh also pointed to the same situation where the corporation was not aware of the 10K SQM plot at the Wagle Estate Ward which would be submitted to the transportation that worked again.
Corporate Corporator Radhika Fatak also shows the difference in which a developer has penetrated NULLAH side by side with the project.
Mayor Naresh Mhaske acknowledged the problem and ordered the government to ensure the earliest garden that launched the probe about how and why companies spend money on beauty and maintenance of personal facilities.
“The plantation department must keep the company’s property record and ensure it does not seize.,” He said, steering the administration to survey the city and keep a record of all the company’s property owned and obtained.
