Thane: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Rajya Sabha MP Vinay Sahasrabuddhe on Friday said Shiv Sena-Ruled Thane Municipal Corporation failed to make the Covid-19 vaccine available in adequate quantities for the mega boost planned to mark the 71th anniversary of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
He said the provision of Thane citizenship who came under pressure from the powerful party needs to be condemned, adding that vaccines are not “property of each political party”.
“BJP leaders in the city want to arrange vaccination camps in their wards, but the TMC authority failed to give a dose.
Instead, they were given to the powerful party corporator.
This has angered Thane,” Sahasrabuddhe said to reporters.
Civil officials cannot be contacted even though they are repeatedly.
