Thane: The upcoming Ganeshotsav festival will likely provide the opportunity needed for political parties in Thane City to reach voters from their respective environments by regulating initiatives such as free travel, vaccination, giving idols at nominal levels and holding decoration competition during party parties Ahead of the corporate election scheduled at any time next year.
Shiv Sena MLC Ravindra Phatak, whose wife represented in Thane Corporation said he was setting several initiatives and was in talks with several NGOs to drive vaccination for residents from their regions.
“The 18-44 age group segment is a cellphone but even though it hasn’t succeeded in getting adequate doses.
So I ensure this segment will also be very vaccinated,” he said.
Patil Milind, NCP Corporator from Kalwa said the party has also arranged four bus services from Kalwa and other parts of the city to help those who return to the festival.

Chrikant Shinde told the party mobilized more than 250 bus services in Thane and Kalyan for those traveling to Conkan.
“We have also distributed nearly 400 idols at a nominal cost to families who want to celebrate the festival but cannot buy it because of the financial crisis,” he said.
Meanwhile, Maharashtra Navnirman Sena has rented a bus to send worshipers to their original land in Konkan.
“We sent more than 100 bus services from Thane, suburbs to Conkan for the sake of worship in addition to regulating some encouragement sessions for household idol decorations.
Mobile Immersion Van will also be deployed for the benefit of worshipers,” Informed Avinash Jadhav, Thane-Palghar Party President District.
A political observer said such initiatives ahead of the festival had a great importance for political parties because they had the opportunity to connect with their prospective voter base and also register their presence in their respective neighborhoods.
“All parties regularly hold such initiatives every year but with the selection of corners, tenors tend to be higher,” said an expert.
