Thane: Anti-encroachive drive takes an ugly turn on Monday after the vendor attacks the assistant Commissioner of the City of Thane Municipal Corporation (TMC) with a sharp knife, completely cut into three fingers of the victim.

Police said the investigation was moderate and they verified if Yadav has committed a crime in the past.
Police further said that the officers and bodyguards underwent reconstruction surgery at a private hospital.
