Kalyan: One person was injured after a large fire broke out at Scrap Godown at the Thane District Bhiwandi on Sunday morning.
Wounded workers have been identified as Anaullah Khan (18).
He has rushed to the Nair Hospital in Mumbai for treatment.
The fire took place at Faizan’s compound located in the Dhamankar Naka area in Bhiwandi.
The Bhiwandi Fire Department has brought a fire under control and said the fire had caused great damage to fail.
The reason behind the fire is unknown.
As a precautionary measure, the power supply to the area has been cut off.
In a range of more than one month, the city of Bhiwandi which is the center of the warehouse has reported more than six fire incidents.
