With this new patient, the total number of omicron variants reached 2 in the city of Kalyan-dombivli.
Health officials said a 45-year-old patient with his wife and 2 children returned to Dombivli on November 23 and on December 3 they were tested positive covid.
Both the husband’s wife has taken the second dose of the vaccine.
They have no symptoms.
After being released, patients suggested 7 quarantine days at home.
The health department has even conducted a RPCR test of 24 close and 86 distance contacts from patients and has found 4 of them positive covid.
