Kalyan: Of the 4 positive Covid-19 patients who have returned from Nigeria to Dombivli on December 2, one of them has been confirmed to be infected with the Omicron variant.
Patients who have undergone treatment in the field of Isolate Kalyan-Dombivli Municipal Corporation (KDMC) are dismissed today from the hospital after a negative RPCR test report.
With this new patient, the total number of omicron variants reached 2 in the city of Kalyan-dombivli.
Health officials said a 45-year-old patient with his wife and 2 children returned to Dombivli on November 23 and on December 3 they were tested positive covid.
Both the husband’s wife has taken the second dose of the vaccine.
They have no symptoms.
After being released, patients suggested 7 quarantine days at home.
The health department has even conducted a RPCR test of 24 close and 86 distance contacts from patients and has found 4 of them positive covid.
