Thane: Open ATM Thieves, Steal RS 1 Lakh Cash

Thane: Three unidentified people penetrate private bank ATMs in the Thane District and allegedly steal around RS 1 Lakh cash from him, police said on Monday.
The thieves, they both wore PPE coats and one dressing security guard uniform, entered the cash dispensation center in Mharal Village in Kalyan Taluka on Saturday and Sunday intervention and breaking the automatic teller machine (ATM) with cutters, with cutters, they said.
They allegedly burned CCTV cameras installed in the center of the ATM and stole RS 1 lakh cash from the engine before running away, said an official from Kalyan Taluka Police Station.
After being told, the police rushed to the place.
They could restore only a portion of CCTV recordings, the official said.
The case was registered against unknown people under the Indian Criminal Code 457 (Lurking House-Trespass at night) and 380 (theft) and efforts to track the perpetrators, he said.
