Thane: Train staff from Thane ensure a resident of Nashik can celebrate his festival when they immediately took his bag full of Diwali’s items left on the local train on Monday night.
According to the train police, Vaibhav Kake, a resident of Nashik who was in Mumbai, had bought Diwali’s goods worth Rs 8,000 but left the bag behind on the local train.
As soon as he realized it, he immediately told the helpline the train police who tracked the train he had entered.
The team then delivered the message to the Thane train police when the train bound to the CSMT reached the station.
The patrol team checks locally when drawn to the station.
“The team managed to track the compartment mentioned in the call and found a bag left behind.
The caller was alerted and we handed it after verification,” said a train police officer.
