Thane: Union Minister Raosaheb Dave has assured that he will visit Thane in Maharashtra to discuss issues related to local trains and passengers’ demands, so the ongoing rainy season session from parliament.
The Minister of State for the train gave a guarantee to the BJP delegation led by Thane Mla Sanjay Kelkar on Thursday.
The delegation meets Dance and proposes a memorandum request about the steps that need to be taken to improve the train facilities in this district.
The problem related to the delayed work in Konkan Railway was also discussed during the meeting, said Kelkar in a statement.
In addition, the problem of additional train requirements to other districts in the Conkan region during the Ganesh and Holi festivals, when people visit their original places in large quantities, also discussed, he added.
