Thane: After the Maharashtra government loosens Covid-19 restrictions, Thane Municipal Corporation (TMC) has enabled important shops to operate until 10pm every day.
For more than two weeks, Thane City had seen a big drop in the case of Covid-19.
The city is now left with 575 active cases.
In order, TMC said that important shops would remain open every day until 10pm.
Previously, the deadline until 4pm on weekdays.
In fact, other shops and companies will remain open from Monday to Saturday until 10pm.
However, shopping centers will continue to be closed.
Medical and chemical shops will remain open on all days.
Civic said that a fitness center, yoga class, salon, a beauty home will be allowed to remain open with a capacity of 50 percent to 10pm from Monday to Saturday, and will remain closed on Sunday.
The park and public park will remain open only from 5am to 9am just to practice, walk, run and cycling.
Cinema Hall, Multiplex, and all religious places will remain close to further orders.
In addition, for marriage, only 50 people will be permitted and 20 people can attend the funeral.
The restaurant can function with a capacity of 50 percent until 4pm from Monday to Saturday.
However, the parcel facility will remain open on all days according to the rules.
E-commerce will continue to function, while public transportation will run with a 100 percent seating capacity.
However, travel stands will not be permitted.
