Thane: Thane Municipal Corporation (TMC) said that 49 people tested the positive Covid-19 virus on Thursday, taking the toll as a whole to 1,36,707.
One person with co-morbidities surrendered to the virus today.
The death toll in Thane City reached 2,075.
On a happier record, 51 people were dismissed from post-recovery hospitals on Thursday.
The total number of positive patients recovered from the Covid-19 virus and was dismissed from the hospital until the date reached 1.34.146.
A total of 3,140 tests were carried out today, taking a total of up to 18,79,033 to date.
Among 49 positive Covid-19 cases, 17 reported from Majiwada, nine of Vartaknagar, five of Naupada, Kalwa and Diva, two of Lokmanyanagar, Wagale, Uthalsar.
There were no cases reported from Mumbra on Thursday.
Also, two cases of Covid-19 were reported from outside of Thane’s jurisdiction.
