Thane reported 64 new Covid-19 cases, one death

Thane: Thane Municipal Corporation reported 64 new Coronavirus cases within its limits on Saturday.
With that, the total number of Covid-19 cases in Thane rose to 1,35,335.
Also, the death toll from Lake City rose to 2,061 with one more fatality that day.
Of the 96 cases, the Majiwada Man zone watched 17 cases, while the Kalwa zone saw 15 cases.
A total of 10 cases were reported at Vartak Nagar, nine in Naupada-Kopri, seven at Lokmanyanagar Savarkarnaga, three in Wabale and two in Diva.
One case was reported from an area outside the TMC jurisdiction and the patient’s address was not confirmed.
Uthalsar and the Mumbra area did not see the new Covid-19 case on Saturday.
Thane so far recorded 1.32,545 recovery of Covid-19, including 77 patients who were declared covid free in the last 24 hours.
The city is now left with 729 active cases.
Thane recovery rate is located at 97.94 percent.
