Thane: retired RBI employees fall prey KYC Link Fraud, lose more than Rs 3 lakh

Thane: retired senior citizens of the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) cheated by online exchangers with the pretext of your customers’ knowledge (KYC).
Police complaints stated that he received a call from an unknown cellphone number stating that he had to obey KYC for his public sector bank account.
Fraudsters send a link to the message messaging application.
When clicking the link, he saw the bank logo and was sure it was the original service he didn’t realize.
When he entered a username, he received a message stating that almost Rs 3.38 lakh was debited from the account.
Cases are registered at the Rudewadvali Police Station in the relevant and acting IPC section.
