Thane: Hundreds of staff including doctors, boys, nurses rented on contracts by private agents to oversee the function of Global Covid Hospital in Thane collected protests after their service was stopped.
Agency sent a notification to the majority staff on Tuesday who told them about termination of their services after Drop in Caseload at the facility.
Also, reduction of remuneration for existing staff was also introduced which made them upset.
Meanwhile, the management of the hospital managed by the corporation ensures to see problems with staff representatives.
The leader of BJP Pravin Darekar and MLC Niranjan Davkhare also intervened in this problem.
The function of routine hospitals is not affected, claiming citizenship officials.
