Thane: Kalwa police ruined the car silencer gang, arresting four Kurla residents and detected 25 cases.
The defendant will issue several grams of metal dust and extract the platinum group metal (palladium dust and metal rhodium) from the damper and sell it.
The police said they were arrested were Samashuddin Shah (21), Nadeem Qureshi alias Nepal (21), Samashuddin Khan (22) and Saddam Khan (26), and 25 reducer worth Rs 6.5 lakh.
