Kalyan: Working on the fifth and sixth lines that are delayed between Thane-diva will be completed at the end of February 2022, said Kalyan Lok Sabha Dr.
Shrikant Shinde on Saturday during inspection by Railway and Mumbai Railway Vikas Corporation (MRVC).
The lines will separate the express and local train between CST and Kalyan.
MRVC has begun working on the line in 2008.
Dr.
Shinde and officials sit in the train keeper cabin and travel between the Mumbra-Kopar train station and also checked work at the Kopar Station, Vithalwadi and Ambernatiy.
Dr.
Shinde said the work would be completed at the end of February 2022.
He said with the settlement of the line, around 30 local train services would be added.
Three local trains were once stranded behind the express train.
There are crossings in Thakurli, Ambivli, Diva and Kalwa and Kharega.
The intersection in Thakurli and Ambivli was closed and the bridge was built.
Kharegaon will be closed in two months after the blanket.
