Thane: Police Thane City was looking for a man after his half-fire body was found in a flat in Burhani Colony in Mumbra, an official said on Thursday.
The murder case was registered against Shahnavaz Saifi (28), said Senior Inspector Madhukar S Kad from the Mumbra Police Station.
The Sadaf Saifi (24) body, his wife, was found from the flat of them locked on Wednesday morning, the official said.
The door was broken open when the victim did not respond to his father’s call and he contacted the police.
The couple, who has a two-year-old daughter, often quarreled over domestic problems, police officials said.
Along with my husband, the child was also gone and the police had launched the hunt, he added.
