Kalyan: 30-year-old chain snatcher died after a fight with a police team while arresting it in the city of Thane Bhiwandi, on Thursday night.
The deceased has been identified as Sadiq Jafmery.
His family had accused that he died when he was beaten while arresting him.
The incident occurred when the police team from the police station Shanti Nagar knew that Jaffery, who had several cases included the chain registered in it in a different police station, had come to his house in the Piranipada area.
