Thane: Human Trade Cells (AHTC) Police Thane arrested two women to run meat trade between countries.
The police saved three girls from the clutches of the defendant.
Acting on the tip-off that some women involved in meat trade, Detective from AHTC arranged bait and sent him to a teenager Hath Naka Locality near the mall.
“The accused women will post ads online, especially on the social networking platform and customers will contact them.
To choose the girls, the defendant will post their pictures and customers will choose from him,” said a police officer.

“When our team asked whether the girls were over 18 years old, but we suspected that they were both minors.
Their age verification happened,” said a senior police officer who benefited the probe.

They were also involved in trading sex in Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Jaipur, Gujarat and Pune.
The case has been registered at the local police station and further investigation is underway.
The police said that the woman who was arrested first sent photos of victims to customers at WhatsApp.
After the selection, the agreement was made and the women supply the girls to their customers.
