Thane: In a surprising revelation, a hole repair that works in the Thane Municipal Corporation area starts several months before the tender is approved and the work order is issued for the contractor, accusing BJP, causing LAX surveillance that allows the works to finally result in poor drivers to survive muddy throughout the season rain.
The administration admitted that Rs 2.5 Crore Tender for road repairs in nine city wards floated in May but work orders were issued only in the last week of September.
The Civic body cites administrative and financial constraints for delays.
MLC Niranjan Davkhare, BJP City President accused, “The tender floated in time but it was never fine and only in September that it was cleaned and work orders were issued for the contractor.

Arjun Ahire, city engineers in Thane Corporation recognize delays in issuing work orders and citing delays due to funding for the same and denying mistakes.
“The file was delayed and had to undergo a comprehensive supervision by finance, the audit department remembered a weak financial situation from the corporation at that time.
However, there was nothing illegal in asking the lowest bidder to start executing work for public comfort,” he said.
Thane Guardian Minister Eknath Shinde issued a strong warning to administration and said poor work while building, repairing the road would not be tolerated.
He instructed officials to examine the working accountability period of disabled work and obtained a road that was repaired by each contractor in a bound time.
Meanwhile, Vice President of the City of BJP Sachin, Thursday, filed pills in Bombay HC for persistent threats from bad roads and traffic congestion in the city.
“Year after year, Thane taxpayers are subject to the same traffic hole and congestion.
There seems to be a contractor cartel at work in corporations that take the same repair work every year,” he said.
