Thane: Thane Municipal Corporation (TMC) has notified that Thane City has reported 49 new Covid-19 cases on Friday.
The total number of cases in Thane rose to 1.35.271.
At present, there are 743 active cases in Thane.
With one death in the last 24 hours, the total number of deaths has reached 2,060.
Patients have co-morbidity.
Meanwhile, 59 patients were dismissed from the hospital on Friday after full recovery.
So far, 1,32,468 patients have been removed from the hospital after making full recovery in Thane.
The Civic’s body also told that 2,116 people had chosen to get a Covid-19 test on Friday.
The recovery rate in Thane was 97.93 percent and a double number was 1,681 days.
Meanwhile, 12 people have tested each positive in Majiwada-Manpada and Vartak Nagar.
7 at Lokmanyanagar, 2 in Naupada, 1 in Uthalsar, 5 in Wagale Estate, 4 in Kalwa and each Diva, and one in Mumbra.
One person who comes out of jurisdiction has also been positively tested on Friday.
The Civic body also informed that 3,874 people got their Jab against the Covid-19 virus on Friday.
The total amount of vaccination given until the date reaches 7.12,845.
