Thane: Only 38 vaccination centers within the Thane Municipal Corporation (TMC) limit will provide covaxin and covishield in the city on Tuesday.
TMC Post Covid Center 2 will manage Covaxin, while the remaining 37 centers will manage covishield on Tuesday.
Those over the age of 18 can take the second dose of Covaxin in this TMC center on Tuesday.
This center is open to walk-in vaccination and will operate starting at 14:00 to 4pm.
TMC has allocated 100 doses to this center.
Those who have taken the first dose of Covaxin on 9 August now qualify for their second dose.
Except TMC Post Covid Center 1, all 36 TMC centers will manage both doses of covishield.
Special walk-in sessions have been held at TMC Post Covid Center 1 for students who will fly abroad for higher studies as well as people traveling for professional reasons.
The second dose of the covishield will be given at the center of 11:00 to 1:00 p.m.
Those who have taken the first dose of Covishield on June 14, now qualify for their second dose.
All centers will provide preferences to different city residents, pregnant women and nursing mothers, Civic’s body said.
Meanwhile, 52 COVID-19 cases were only recorded in Thane City on Monday, a citizenship official said.
