Thane: The Government Railway (GRP) in Thane arrested two people to loot passengers near the Parsik Tunnel between the Mumbra-Kalwa train station from Central Railway on Thursday.
Police said that the accused of being arrested was Sameer Khan (23) and Bablu Goud alias Chennai (22) residents of the Bhaskar Nagar Kalwa area.
The police said that they had won spoils stolen worth Rs 43,280 from the Duo, which tended to be suspected of being a similar crime across the railway and police said they were investigating the same thing.
A police officer informed that the victim, Puja Mohite, a resident of Pune, along with his brother traveled towards Thane on June 24 around 7am at Kova-LTT Express.

Both of them caught a slow suburban train to Kalyan and got off at the Kalwa train station.
After that, they went to the track quickly and started looking for cellphones with feet in the parsik tunnel.
But the two defendants for them and threatened to kill them and rob a cellphone and other jewelry.
After the incident, the victim returned to the Thane train station.
They registered a violation with Thane GRP.
Based on this information and an unclear description, the police launched Manhunt and arrested the duo who recognized the crime and seized the booty stolen from their ownership.
