Kalyan: Two prisoners in Adharwadi prison in Kalyan allegedly attacked Jailor, Anand Pansare and his colleague Constable, Baaharb Galambave with sharp weapons in prison on Thursday night.
Pansare suffered several injuries around his neck and was undergoing hospital treatment in Kalyan.
The inmates, Mohammed Altaf and Ankit Prasad served prison for efforts to kill charges.
They attacked Pansare with sharp weapons after he questioned the Alaf because he came out of the barracks who were not dialect to him and also attacked Constable Galambave when he came to help Pansare.
FIR has registered against both.
