Thane: Police Kapurbawdi has ordered nurses and two Journali-STS for allegedly demanding and receiving money from Deputy Deputies Thane, Vishwanath Kelkar to resolve the case of persecution of him.
Leil accused the complainant in the case of persecution, a journalist with a local paper and a journalist escaped ‘slander’ by posting his photo with two women on social media and accused him of sexual harassment.
They demanded Rs 5 lakh to ‘complete’ problems received by Rs 3 Lakh by journalists at the Kelkar office.
Kelkar claimed that because he failed to pay balance, they filed a complaint of persecution.
But the freelancer said, “This is the wrong case.
I have booked to tweeting the news and trying to help the victim.” Local journalists said it was a pressure tactic to withdraw the case of persecution.
