Thane: Two motorbike riders were killed in a separate incident from Hit-and-Run in Thane on Wednesday, officials from police Thane said.
In the first incident, a 45-year-old biker, Dilip Wagh, Fromkaly was killed in a hit-and-run accident on Bypass Bhiwandi road on the Nashik Bound lane on Wednesday night, officials said.
Santosh Kadam from Thane RDMC said an unknown vehicle hit the Wagh bike near the RustomJee fire station around 9:30 a.m.
and escaped from the place.
Wagh, a resident of Krushna colony, Beturkar Pala, Kalyan West, suffered a serious injury and then gave up on his injury, said Kadam.
In another accident, which was reported on Daighar police, Wednesday morning, a 32-year-old motorcyclist from Panvel traveled to Dombivli from Junction Kalyan Phata when he collided with other motorcyclists.
The impact of the collision was such that other bikers fell and suffered serious injuries to limbs and neck after he gave up on his wounds, police said.
Meanwhile, the defendant managed to escape from the scene but the police managed to get details from eyewitnesses.
The police have registered a case against the unknown driver in the two incidents.
