Kalyan: In a large setback to the Bhartiya Janta Party (BJP) in Ulhasnagar, after 22 Corporators left the party and joined the Nationalist Congress Party (NCP), two other senior local leaders left the party and had joined NCP in Ulhasnagar.
The steps before the upcoming Election Ulhasnagar Municipal Corporation (UMC), which is likely to be held with BMC, is a bad signal for BJP in Ulhasnagar.
Both leaders – Anand Shinde, former BJP Vice President in City and Dinesh Changani, President Cell BJP Rajasthani – who left the party and joined NCP had blamed the Jammu Puraswani district president as an excuse to leave the Safron Party.
Shinde, which was said to be close to MLA Kumar Ailani BJP, was not happy to be dominated by Puraswani for the past few years.
In his resignation letter, Shinde blamed Parswani for not concentrating on strengthening the party and giving preference in civil-related tender work and also to choose elected people to post at a party.
Both leaders joined the NCP under the leadership of the new NCP district of Pancam Kalani.
Found since Pappu Kalani returned from prison with parole, Pappu had begun to strengthen NCP by getting Panham in-law to NCP from BJP along with 22 canestators from BJP to NCP.
Some attempts to contact Puraswani for this problem failed because the phone was not reached.
However, the BJP City spokesman Pradeep Ramchandani said, “When the election came, such a situation appeared on each party.
It was no big deal.”
