Thane: The 26-year-old Loom Power worker sank at a lake in the city of Bhiwandi in the Thane District, the police said on Monday.
A police station official Bhouwada said the worker, Altamash Shaikh, a resident of condajiwadi, has gone to swim alone and sink on the lake on Sunday afternoon.
Cases of unintentional deaths since being registered and their bodies were sent for postmortem, he said.
