Mumbai: The CEO of HDFC Bank Sashidhar Jagdishan has said that the RBI Embargo has allowed the bank to recharge the IT system and process and “Turbo-Chargo” the rate of technology transformation.
He repeated the bank’s plan to “return with Bang” in the card room and regain lost market share.
In communication to all employees who told them about the RBI decision, Jagdishan said that when the bank would now grow a new credit card, restrictions on the new digital business making activities under the 2.0 initiative will continue to further reviews.
“I thank you for ‘rap on finger books’ from the regulator.
This rap has opened our eyes to the world of possibilities,” said Jagdishan.
“At the coming moment, we will be able to show the transformation of the technology we have needed,” Jagdishan said.
He repeated the Bank’s plan for ‘digital factory’ and ‘company factory’, which will activate it safely for the scale of operation.
“In the day and time today, there may be a technology problem, but we have begun to build an architecture that will ensure our system rises back quickly while ensuring minimal inconvenience to our customers and has several channels available to customers to complete the transaction,” Jagdishan said .
Responding to criticism that “HDFC Bank has lost Mojo”, Jagdishan urges employees to attract inspiration from the Indian Olympics.
