New Delhi: Congress MP Shashi Tharoor on Thursday demanded that a personal attack “misleading” to him by a member of Lok Sabha during the debate earlier this week had to be cursed.
He asked the Om Birla speaker during Zero Hour to ensure that such a problem was not repeated by any member of other members.
Claiming that violations of parliamentary procedures and etiquette by members of the house during their comments in the High Court and the Supreme Court Judge (Salary and Service Conditions) Amendment bills, 2021, were violated, Tharoor said clearly from the transcript stated by members: “Aise to Inko Discuss Mein Bhag Nahi Lena Chahiye Inka Bhi Delayed Case in Hua Hai (He (Tharoor) must not participate in his debate with him).
” MP Congress said he regretted this kind of comment and added “the claim itself was wrong and there were no cases delayed towards me.
The accusation called the court was dismissed That, he said even if a case was waiting for a member of a house that did not prevent MP from participating in any deliberation.
Tharoor demands that the speaker must condemn this action.
For this, Birla asked members to follow parliamentary procedures and rules.
Then responding to Tharoor’s comments, Nishikant DuBey (BJP) said members must hold on to this problem and not deviate from the discussion topic.
Referring to the intervention made during the discussion on that day, Dubey said he had picked up the point of order asking Tharoor through the chair to hold back not to speak in cases delayed before the court.
“If you point one finger on our four fingers will point back to you,” he said.
