NEW YORK: A prisoner in New York City Jail Barge died Wednesday after a clear medical emergency, said the city correction department.
At least the 12th death of a city prisoner this year and the second this week in the midst of several elected officials and advocates has considered the “humanitarian crisis” in the locking of the city.
