New Delhi: A 16-year-old girl was attacked with a ax near the Moti Bagh Delhi slum on Monday.
In accordance with Delhi police, the girl was hit near Alis by a boy in the early twenties.
The defendant identified as Praveen is a resident of slums.
The girl rushed to the SJ hospital immediately and still breathed, police said.
Crime motifs will be clear only after further investigation, added the police.
The case under the relevant legal section has been registered in this matter.
The police team conducted a search operation to accuse the defendant.
