The 17-year-old Runaway was traced to Hyderabad, reunited with family in Mumbai

Thane: A 17-year-old boy who was missing from his home in the Diva was successfully traced to Hyderabad by the Mumbra police team.
He returned back with his family after endless efforts to look for it and scan hundreds of CCTVs at various train stations.
The police said that the boy was a resident of Mumbra Devi Colony in Diva (e) and was good at his studies and there was no family dispute.
However, on November 21, he lost.
Family members look for panic without results.
They then registered the kidnapping case with the Mumbra police station, said Shahji Shelke, investigative officer.
“He didn’t bring his cellphone; this made this case really challenging to track,” the officer said.
A team was formed to trace the boy who began scanning CCTV recording.
They got the first clue that he rode Mumbra to the Kalyan train and from Kalyan he took the Hyderabad Bound train.
The police began checking with intermediary stations but he was not seen anywhere.
The police said they considered his age and understood his psychology and his behavior from his family members, they assumed that he could take some small work to life.
Therefore, the police launched Manhunt near Nampally train station and after talking to some people giving his description, they found that he worked for several days at the Lodge for eight days but left him on the same day they got there, the officer said.
The investigation team continued to look for it and finally on November 30 they saw it sleeping at the gas station at around 6am.
He was taken back and reunited with the family.
When questioned, he told the police that he secured 85 percent in the SSC but was not sure that he would score good value in the HSC exam because of college online because of a pandemic.
He is advised and restored with family members.
