Noida / Ghaziabad: In the first special drive to manage the second dose of the vaccine against Covid-19, the Ministry of Health officials on Saturday were inoculated more than 6,700 people in Gautam Budh Nagar.

Officials said that due to a decrease in vaccine supply, only a small amount of free slots could be offered.
“Responding to their complaints, the government has dedicated Saturday to the second dose.
In this way, people will be able to maintain a vaccine schedule,” said an officer from the district.
Residents of Zeta sectors in Greater Noida, Nitin Srivastava said, “My father matured for the second dose of Covisheild from July 3.
However, I could not find a slot for him and finally took him to the private center.

“In the 32th government center, we also provide the first dose to people but after the specified time – between 9am and 11 in the morning,” the official added.
In Ghaziabad, a total of 3,17,813 people have received a second dose so far while 13,67,395 people have received the first dose.
