Hospet: The 31st District of Karnataka Vijayanagara, named by the Vijayanagara Empire at King Krishna Devaraya, officially appeared on Saturday.
Carved from Ballari Rich Mine Regency, Vijayanagara will have Hospet, Harapanahalli, Kudligi, Hoovina Hadagali, Hagaribommanahalli and Kotturu Taluk.
Hospet will be an administrative capital.
This district has become the main tourist destination because all important sites from the Vijayanagara Dynasty are located here.

Release the government’s orders announced the establishment of new districts, the Minister of Chief Justice of Basavaraj Bommai said the Vijayanagara Empire was not formed in a day, but was the result of Hakka’s efforts (also known as Haritha Raya) and the Tungabhadra River, and Bukabhadra, and thanks to the Saint Vidya.
