Mumbai: Minister of Health Maharashtra Rajesh Tope said on Sunday declaring fear that the third wave that was estimated from the Pandemic Covid-19 would infect around 60 people in all states and medical oxygen requirements may increase to 4,000mt at this time.
Tope, while talking to the media in his hometown Jalna, said, “At the Friday video conference meeting with Prime Minister Narendra Modi, instructions were given to be more alert now and followed the appropriate behavior of Covid.
The crowd in public places should be avoided and there is no permission It must be given for public functions.
“The meeting with PM Modi was attended by senior officials from the Ministry of Health Union and preparation for the third wave discussed.
“This center also directs the country to be prepared for the third wave and keeps infrastructure ready to overcome it,” he added.
“I would say that 20 laid people who were affected by the first wave and 40 Lakh strange was hit in the second wave.
It is estimated that the third wave might infect 60 Lakh residents.
So, we must be ready by curbing the third wave,” Tope said.
Maharashtra has so far reported 62.14 cases of lakh covid-19 and 1,27,031 deaths.
