New Delhi: The fourth edition of the Jee (Main) technique has been postponed until August 26 to September 2 to provide a prospective gap four weeks between two important test sessions.
The fourth edition of Jee (Main) was previously scheduled to be held from July 27 to August 2, only two days after the third edition ended leading to the candidate demanding the gap between the two examinations.
Announcing Decision, Minister of Education Union Dharmendra Pradhan on Thursday Tweeted, “Given the continuous demand from the student community and to enable candidates to maximize their performance, the national testing body has been advised to provide a four-week gap between the three sessions and four Jee exams ( Main) 2021.

A total of 7.32 Lakh candidates have been registered for the fourth edition of the JEE (JEE) examination.
Pradhan said that registration for a four Jee-main session was still in the process and the registration date would be extended until July 20.
“To overcome the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic, the number of cities has increased from 232 to 334.
The number of inspection centers in each shift will also increase from 660 to 828,” said Sadhana Parashar, Senior Director, NTA.
The Ministry of Education has last week announced that the pending (third and fourth) editions will be carried out from 20-25 July and 27 July to 2 August.
Jee-English to enter college engineering is being carried out four times a year from the current academic session that is hit by Coronavirus to offer flexibility to students and the opportunity to increase their scores.
The first phase in February was followed by the second phase in March, while the next phase is scheduled for April and May.
But they were postponed after a surge in the number of cases of Coronavirus during the second wave of pandemic.
