The 70th MSU Convocation was held online on February 5

Vadodara: MS University will hold the 70th annual convocation ceremony in February 5.
Lieutenant General Asit Mistry will be the main guest during the convocation ceremony to be held virtually.
Born in Vadodara, Mistry, has been doing school initially from Chetan Balwadi and the MSU experimental school.
Recently, he became the only third Gujarati who rose to the rank of Lieutenant General and to be honored with Param Vishisht Seva Medal (PVSM), the highest pious-distinguished service award.
During his military career which stretched nearly four decades, he had pocketed three other leading service awards – ATI Wishisht Seva Medal, Sena Medal and Vishisht Seva – In addition to praising the Army Chief of Staff and Commander General Commander.
Meanwhile in service, his final role was the commander of the National Defense Academy (NDA), Khadakwasla, better known as the birth of military leadership, where he oversees the training of nearly 2,000 young cadets.
He also became the Colonel of Maratha Light Infantry regimens.
Senior officers who have retired from the service have joined Rashtriya Raksha University, Gandhinagar as Director of the School of Internal Security, Defense Studies.
