Ludhiana: A resident of Ludhiana died of Covid-19 and four others, including two from outside the district, tested positive here on Wednesday.
As a health department bulletin, a 82-year-old man from Basant Vihar, Dugri, surrendered to the virus in a private hospital here.
Tally the district victims have increased to 2,112 and that outsiders here are 1,061.
For dates, 29,26,989 samples have been tested.
Of the two new cases from the district, one from the corner of the flu and others was traced.
The district case count was 87,687 and that the outsider here was 11,748.
So far, 85,550 patients had recovered, which was 97.56% of the total cases.
There are 25 active cases.
On that day, 4,506 samples were collected.
