Lucknow: The number of active cases in the state again rose to 250 on Saturday as 26 new cases of Covid-19 infection was detected in the last 24 hours.
Calculate the active case installed at 11 after adjusting 15 patients recovering in the same duration.
The new cases took the state counting to 17.09.427 where 16,86,323 had recovered.
An official statement said new cases were reported from only 12 districts and all saw a single digit number.
63 of the remaining districts see zero cases.
It can be noted that 24 districts – Aligarh, Amethi, Ayodhya, Baghpat, Ballia, Banda, Basti, Bijnor, Chitrakoot, Deoria, Fatehpur, Ghazipur, Gonda, Hamirpur, Hardoi, Halitpur, Mahabi, Muzaffarnagar, Pilibhit, Rampur, Shamli and Sitapur – has become covidfree with zero active case.
Talking about increased vaccination, officials said: “The total number of dosages given in the country has reached 7.75 crores.
In terms of people, 6.47 crore people have taken at least one temporary dose of 1.27 Crore fully vaccinated.”
